Pruning and Fertilizing Small Fruit Crops Class at The Arboretum
This demonstration led by Dr. John Strang for home fruit enthusiasts will cover pruning and fertilizing blackberries, raspberries, blueberries, gooseberries and currants. Pruning and fertilizing are essential for maintaining plant health and vigor. Knowing where the flower buds are located on dormant wood is important in determining how to prune and to maximize the production of large sweet berries.
