The Ann Tower gallery is pleased to present "Karen Spears: New Work," opening with a Gallery Hop Reception on Friday, February 15, from 5 to 8 p.m. This new body of work takes a fresh look at the view from her studio where a tributary of the South Elkhorn Creek runs through her backyard. The paintings depict and interpret the ever changing light and color of trees, foliage, grass, and water. They are lush and evocative responses that begin in observation and are completed in bold fantasy.
