HANDEL AND BACH!
The Kentucky Bach Choir and Baroque Consort will collaborate with the Tates Creek High School Choir in a presentation of Handel’s Coronation Anthem No. 1, “Zadok the Priest”. The concert will also feature J. S. Bach’s Cantata BWV 29, Wir danken dir, Gott, wir danken dir, and movements from Bach’s solo cantata for soprano BWV 199, Mein Herze schwimmt in Blut – with soprano Abigail Santos Villalobos, the winner of the 2012 Kentucky Bach Choir Vocal Competition.
