"An Evening in Brazil" with Brasil Choro Trio

For this special Lexington appearance, Douglas Lora will perform on a seven-string guitar in a swinging acoustic trio with his brother Alexandre Lora(pandeiro-percussion) and one of Brazil’s premier mandolin virtuosos, Dudu Maia. The trio will perform the Brazilian music known as choro, which has been described as “a Brazilian cross between bluegrass and ragtime.”
