Saint Patrick's Week Celtic Eucharist

To bring a week of St. Patrick's Day events to a close, Christ Church Cathedral in downtown Lexington will celebrate a Celtic Eucharist. This Eucharist is a contemporary service similar to the liturgy celebrated in a Celi De community in the early ninth century and is drawn from the book A Celtic Eucharist by Father Brendan O'Malley. The evening service includes a Ceremony of Light, incense, prayer bells and chants sung by the Cathedral Schola, a women's ensemble.
