CY TWOMBLY ELEGY SERIES

This exhibit features David Stratton's first series of drawings. Cy Twombly and other artists inspired Stratton's ink drawings to evolve to emphasize process and texture. Unlike Stratton's paintings where the process is hidden, the gestural scribble/crosshatch/ wandering ink process is open to the viewer.
