The Essential Yoga class promotes personal exploration of yoga philosophy, asana (poses), pranayama (breathing exercises), meditation (stilling the mind), restorative poses, and relaxation. The asana practice will focus on the foundational poses of yoga to develop strength, flexibility and balance while learning proper alignment, use of breath and self awareness. All students are encouraged to work at their own level and modifications to poses will be offered. Suitable for everyone.
