Cumberland Island, Ga., is now a federally protected National Seashore whose natural beauty is preserved for the common good. But this beautiful island was once slated to be mined for its titanium and developed into a residential resort. "Cumberland Island Saved" recounts the story of the successful preservation efforts from one of its participants, Joe Graves of Lexington. Presented by the Morris Book Shop and the Carnegie Center for Literacy and Learning.
