Joe Graves signs "Cumberland Island Saved: How the Carnegies Helped Preserve a National Treasure"

Cumberland Island, Ga., is now a federally protected National Seashore whose natural beauty is preserved for the common good. But this beautiful island was once slated to be mined for its titanium and developed into a residential resort. "Cumberland Island Saved" recounts the story of the successful preservation efforts from one of its participants, Joe Graves of Lexington.
