Hal Sparks grew up in Peak's Mill, and began his professional career as a teenager in Chicago. As a member of the famed Second City Troupe, his quick wit and affable personality quickly gained him recognition and acclaim. In 1987 he was named the "Funniest Teenager In Chicago" by the Chicago Sun Times.
He promptly moved to L.A. and immediately hit the stages of all the top clubs.
Hal's television and film resume is extensive and diverse. We've listed some highlights; other notable credits include The Tonight Show, The View, and Politically Incorrect.
Hal is an accomplished singer/songwriter and an expert in the martial arts with 20 years experience in Shaolin, Kung Fu, Wushu, and Karate.
