my husband and I take our grandsons to the Lewistown theater often. It has more leg space than I have ever seen in a theater. You are not squeezed in so it is very comfortable. We have always been able to sit far enough away from everyone else that we can talk to our grandsons without disturbing anyone. Everyone was very nice and helpful. looking forward to going back
HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!
Every summer my family of 5 visits friends near Lewistown, and each year we see a movie in this theater.
BEWARE the management of this theater is incredibly inconsiderate, threatening and will literally make your children cry!!
My family along with my friends went to see Monsters University on June 26, 2013. Everything was fine.
July 4, 2013 we bought tickets and entered the theater to see Despicable Me 2. My daughters are 5, 6 and 7. We had brought along a couple of McDonalds water cups and I had a soda cup.
We knew that outside food and drink were not permitted, but before we even had a chance to throw out our cups the manager and an employee confronted us in front of the kids. My friend and I said no problem we will throw them out I just needed to take my girls to use the bathroom first. After we finished the men followed us again into the theater harassing us to throw away our water cups. We complied. I also explained to them that just like last time, I would be purchasing popcorn, drinks and concessions. The manger raised his voice at me in front of the children and accuses me of having a bottle of water (which I did not have.) The manager and the other employee than proceeded to pick up the trash bags and go through them and raising their voices at my friend and I accusing us of having a water bottle!! I asked for my money back and said we would like to leave and the manager REFUSED to give us our money back!! All 3 of my girls started bawling their eyes out and yelling saying that they wanted to "just leave". That they were afraid of the bad men.
I WILL NEVER EVER EVER RETURN TO THIS THEATER AND WILL MAKE SURE THAT OTHER PEOPLE (ESPECIALLY MOTHERS) know exactly what happened. This is so not acceptable, or appropriate! To make my kids cry like that is unforgivable!! [thumbdown][ban][ban][sad]
