This course develops learners knowledge of how to effectively plan, conduct and evaluate sessions in Swimming to students of all ages. The Certificate qualifies successful learners to teach Swimming sessions and be employed as a Swimming teacher in a number of settings.

Remember...
To be eligible for the Sports Club Bursary Cost you must :
- Be a player, coach and/or volunteer at a sports club within Leicester City (this will need to be verified by a senior member of the club i.e. chairperson, sectratary, manager etc.)
- Be willing to give back a number of voluntary hours to your club (10 hours for a level 1 and 20 hours for a level 2)
- Each application will be assessed by the LCC Sports Regen Unit on an individual basis
To be eligible for a free place through b-active women you must:
- Be a woman aged 16+ living in Leicester City
To be eligible for a free place through the AP you must either:
- Be aged 16-18
- Be aged 19+ and unemployed
- Be aged 19+ and have not yet gained a full level 1 or 2 qualification
The AP Cost is availble to everyone who doesn't fit any of the above criteria. This cost is still heavily discounted (limited spaces availble).

Places on courses are not fully guaranteed until applications and payment have been received and approved.
All applications are monitored to ensure that the applicant meets the correct payment band criteria and are eligible for a place.
If your application is rejected, you will be notified and reimbursed any money you have paid (minus a small administration 'fee').
