We are particularly proud of our classical season which is headed by the renowned Philharmonia Orchestra who have been resident with us since 1997.

Born in 1950 on the island of St. Kitts, British singer/songwriter Joan Armatrading was her country's -- as well as Britain's -- first woman to make commercial inroads into her chosen genre, spicing her take on folk with elements of rock, blues, and jazz, and has had a remarkably long, consistent career....
Following nuns, Cornish fisherman, and Chelsea pensioners, former decorating and painting team the Overtones were the latest unlikely act to sign a major record deal in the late 2000s. The vocal harmony group consists of falsetto Mark Franks, a former Pet Shop Boys dancer from Manchester; Lachie Chapman from Sydney; Mike Crawshaw, an ex-model from Bristol; Darren Everest, a Sylvia Young Theatre School attendee from Essex; and Timmy Matley, a former Fame -- The Musical star from Cork....
One of the most original and distinctive new stars on television, Jimmy was recently a guest on the current series of 'Parkinson' (BBC1) and 'Bafta Tribute to Bob Monkhouse' (BBC1). And, as the face of comedy on Channel 4, after the successes of 'Your Face Or Mine' and the first series of the prime-time gameshow 'Distraction,' he is currently presenting the second series of 'Distraction,' which started on Channel 4 on 16th April 2004....
