Kenny G is a multi-platinum sensation, the world's most renowned saxophonist and the current title holder of the biggest selling instrumental record in US History with Breathless. That album also contains his Grammy Award winning single "Forever In Love." But, it was 1994's holiday compilation, Miracles, which finally garnered him the #1 spot on the Billboard Top 200 Chart. As of 2007, the album still stood as the best selling holiday album. In 2008 Kenny G released his first ever Latin Jazz album, Rhythm & Romance. It is a beautiful culmination of Kenny G's signature sounds backed by some of the world's finest Latin musicians. Kenny G signed with Arista Records in 1982, released 3 critically acclaimed Jazz albums and began his journey into becoming a star. In 1988 he appeared on Johnny Carson and performed "Songbird," but there was some pre-show problems when the show's producer felt Kenny needed to perform with a vocalist. Kenny G won the battle and went on stage without a vocalist. He has collaborated with vocalists over the years; Aretha Franklin, Whitney Houston, Natalie Cole and Frank Sinatra, just to name a few, but his music is instrumental and he wants to keep the integrity of his genre. In 2002 he did release an album entitled At Last...The Duets Album which features performances by Barbra Streisand, Burt Bacharach and LeAnn Rimes. Along with his passion for music, Kenny is also an avid golfer. In 2006 he was the #1 golfer in Golf Digest's "Top 100 in Music" list.
