Emmy and Peabody Award-winning comedian, Paul Mecurio, and Dueling Pianos, will ring in 2013 at “Comix Countdownâ€* with dancing, drinks and great times lasting until 3 a.m. New Year’s Eve party favors, a champagne toast and a post-midnight dessert buffet will follow the two performances.
Paul is heard by millions of listeners nationwide in his recurring segment, “Paul Mecurio’s Image Makeover,â€* on nationally syndicated morning radio… Show more show, “The Bob & Tom Show,â€* which is syndicated to over 150 markets with more than 4 million listeners. He’s also currently developing two television shows in which he will star. Monthly show, “Dueling Comix Pianos,â€* features two grand pianists playing contemporary tunes, combined with bits of comedy and lyric substitutions.
In addition to writing for “The Daily Show with John Stewart,â€* for which he won the Emmy, Paul is a contributor on CNN, Fox News Channel, MSNBC and CNBC and starred in his own “Comedy Central Presentsâ€* special. He has also performed three times at the prestigious Just For Laughs Comedy Festival in Montreal.
