Supernatural Santana - A Trip Through the Hits
Delivered with a level of passion and soul equal to the legendary sonic charge of his guitar, the sound of Carlos Santana is one of the world's best-known musical signatures and now Carlos Santana and the Santana Band will perform a show over a two-year residency that will be inspired by what Carlos Santana - a "hippie at heart" - calls a mix of practical spirituality, a rebel-from-the-street vibe and amazing music.
The show will be Carlos' passionate, virtuoso guitar playing, and the intimate connection it creates with the audience. The set list reaches back more than four decades - as far as their first charting single - 1969's "Jingo" - and first Top 10 hit - 1970's "Evil Ways" - up through their latest hit, 2008's "Into the Night" among other hits.

I was just reading an article about how Amy Winehouse's original voice is an appealing and attractive sound but after listening to it too much, we get bored and almost cringe at its repetition. Sorry, that to me is the sound of Carlos Santana's guitar. Yes, a great, unique sound, but on song after song after song after song after song....

With an 11 piece band, the show was all a fan could ask for. The energy was phenominal. At times Carlos would hit notes that seemed to lift him to his tiptoes on the verge of elevation. Loved every minute of it.

I wonder if Santana would be any good at playing that game Guitar Hero?
Sure the man is the master when it comes to strumming the guitar, but did you know that he also designs shoes?!!? Yes, it's true! I saw them at Macy's and Nordstrom. High-end stuff!
