With more than 100,000 artifacts in the Michigan Historical Museum collections, only a small percentage is on display at any one time. Today, you get a rare opportunity to see some of the more unusual artifacts that we preserve for the people of Michigan:
THE ODD! - a miniature iron maiden
THE MACABRE! - a piece of the hangman's scaffolding on which the Lincoln assassination conspirators were executed
THE UNIQUE! - a two-headed brook trout
This program is included free with museum admission.
