Absolute Beginner's Guide to Sewing with Bonnie Frey
This class aims to give students with little or no prior experience a comprehensive introduction to sewing. Topics covered include: how to thread and use a sewing machine, basic functions and stitches of a sewing machine, closures (buttons, snaps, zippers and more), hems, sewing points and curves, sewing darts and pleats, fabric types and handling. Students will end these four sessions with a collection of reference samples for future projects.
