Stories of Boyhood, Missions in Africa & Sizing Up Life
Enjoy heartwarming stories from Don Jacobs’ life before, during and after his time in Africa.
Don Jacobs and his wife, Anna Ruth, were Mennonite missionaries in Tanzania and Kenya from 1954 to 1973. During that time, the Mennonite church grew from 500 to 5,000 members. “We had very little to do with it,” Jacobs said in an interview with Eastern Mennonite University’s Crossroads magazine. “It was a great surprise that so much happened so quickly, considering how little we had going for us."
