The Demuth Museum’s annual Invitational features the work of 52 local artists who have created new works based on this year’s theme of landscape. Whether here in Lancaster or traveling abroad, Charles Demuth (1883-1935) returned to landscape painting throughout his artistic career. This year’s artists will create a landscape scene depicting either Demuth’s beloved Lancaster county or another place they’ve visited.
