Homeschool Science: Welcome Waterfowl Migrants!

Environmental Center & Middle Creek
The yearly northward migration of waterfowl is incredible to behold. With Naturalist Mary Ann Schlegel, students will visit Middle Creek Wildlife Management Area and experience this first-hand. The class on Feb. 28 will meet in the Environmental Center classroom. Weather permitting, classes on March 6 and 13 will meet at Middle Creek. On the Middle Creek days, a van will leave the Environmental Center at 9 a.m. and return at 1 p.m. after a quick picnic… Show more lunch. Alternately, parents are welcome to meet the van at Middle Creek at 10 a.m. where class will conclude at 11:30 a.m. Register for the series: fee of $25 covers 4 classes.
Children must be at least 9 years of age when classes begin. No younger siblings in class, please.
