Family Place Parent/Child Playshops (Free)

This five-week series brings together toddlers and their parents in an informal, interactive setting with community professionals. It emphasizes and supports the role of parents as first teachers, facilitates early intervention, and teaches strategies that promote healthy child development. Adults have the opportunity to socialize and experience developmentally appropriate toys with their little ones while community professionals provide information.

Mon. March 12th: Beth Wagner, Children and Teen Services Librarian. Topic: Early Literacy.
Tues. March 13th: Amy Mostell, Occupational Therapist at Schreiber Pediatric Center. Topic: Fine and Gross Motor Development.
Mon. March 19th: Dorlas Riley, Speech & Language Pathologist, Lead Therapist at Schreiber Pediatric Center. Topic: Speech and Language Development.
