Skyview is a great experience!!!!!!

My family and I have enjoyed the skyview for several years. We have found it to be a very nice, clean, and friendly establishment. The staff and owners have been most pleasant. We have not had anything to complain about in all the years.
As to the disgruntled patron, try going to an indoor movie theater and see if you can whoop, yell and holler. I don't think so because you would certainly be escorted to the door. As for the parking, just follow the rules. They are there for your safety and enjoyment as well as others. I strongly suggest you find other means of entertainment and let us continue enjoying the skyview.

The Skyview is great!!

We go there several times every summer (as much as we can) and have NEVER had a bad experience. The rules are CLEARLY outlined in a pamplet you get when you pay and are given to you before the movie starts. And they are very clearly for the enjoyment and safety of everyone in attendance. I agree with familynewark, if you need special parking arrangements get there early now that you know! Great prices and a great drive-in!

Mr Skyview

I'am the owner, and yes we do have rules. These rules are for YOUR safety as well as others so everyone can have a safe and enjoyable time.
Any vehicle other than a car must park at a orange post, this is so a large vehicle does not block a small one.
A car and a large vehicle CAN park beside each other providing you get there early enough, but if you wait till almost time the movie starts the chances of those spots are slimmer. We ask that you park close to the post so the next vehicle can get in beside you so they will not bang their door on your vehicle when they get out, so there is reasoning for each rule. Everyone as they enter are told as well as handed a colored flyer as to where they must park, and how many I, or the security must move because some do not want to follow the rules. We run a very clean, orderly, and safe business. I do not consider myself a "jerk" just one that has to make sure the rules are followed as maybe the one that thought I was a "jerk" maybe forgot to read the rules and follow them.
As to the one about the whistle blowing and yelling-- I've done that once,(blew my whistle, did not yell) and that was for a gentleman that refused to follow the dircections of where to park.I do not belittle people.
I will discuss anything with anybody, but when they refuse to follow the rules and stand there and want to argue or tell you how stupid the rules are, then yes, the police or I, will ask you to leave.
Come early to the drive-in in a car and let a van park in front of you and see if you have an enjoyable evening--I don't think so. This is just another reason for some rules.
We hope the one that thinks the "owner is a jerk and rude owner/hateful man" continues to come to the drive-in, as the owner is a really nice person.
Owner.

Owner is a JERK

I go to this place probably 10- 15 times a year, and it does not fail that everytime I go the owner finds something to yell about. There is no warnings it is straight to yelling. I think he thinks he is the king of the world or something. If you go to this drive-in prepare to be yelled at by the owner, either for parking 1/8 of an inch too far forward or just being a normal human being, the owner will find something to yell at you for.

Owner sets rules? That's crazy!

Our family of 5 have been to this drive-in numerous times in 2007 and twice in 2008. We have talked with the owner just last week. He was a very polite man, however he is the owner and has rules. It is his job to makes sure everybody obeys the rules. These rules aren't set for nothing. Maybe the family who went to the movies and couldn't park beside their friends in the mini van should have gotten there earlier. They could've found a spot next to the orange poles where vans/trucks are supposed to park. We have a mini van and got there a little late last week so we were almost the last spot clear to the left of the screen and saw everything just fine. Cheap entry fee & cheap food!(not a waste of $, especially for 2 movies!) We always have a great time here and would recommend this drive-in to anybody. Maybe the reason why drive-ins are so rare now is because people can't follow simple rules so everybody can enjoy the movie and the owner can successfully run it. Good job to the business owner.

Rude Owner / Hateful Man

Our family was at the drive ins last Sunday. 1st they have assigned parking so if you go with friends who drive a car and you have a mini van you cannot park together. The view is terrible from 2/3's of viewing area. The owner belittles people, blows his whistle at grown adults (who were polite to him) and yells at them. He has no patience and if you question him he will have the Lancaster police throw you out. There are many things he could do to make this drive in better and first should be to hire someone with people skills to deal with his customers because he has none. Worst movie experience I have ever had. there is a list of other complaints but I just tell you don't waste your money. Avoid this theater at all costs.
