Historic Fort Steilacoom presents: School Visitation & Living History Open House!

Children are invited to participate in an interactive experience at Historic Fort Steilacoom and learn how to make a magic lantern slide from 10 am-1 pm. Also, from 10 am-4 pm, re-enactors in period dress will show the historic buildings and answer questions about the U.S. Army during its occupation of the fort between 1849-1868. A special re-enactment of Idaho Terr. Gov. William Wallace, portrayed by David Leroy, talking about his friend, President Abraham Lincoln will take place at 2 p.m.
