Phōs: light today: a multidisciplinary exhibit showing ways artists use & represent light. Phōs (from Greek) means light; it inspired the exhibition title & unites a collection of artists exploring new options in photography, sculpture, painting, drawing, video, & installation.
Here, contemporary artists experiment with ways that light can be seen & understood using new technologies, harnessing it in installations, and exploring it as material & subject matter.
