Lahaina Mai Tai Lounge

The ambiance was great. That's the end of anything positive. Avoid this restaurant. The owner is certifiably insane. Our first two entrees arrived after a long wait not as we ordered. The fish was not the type of fish we ordered and the side orders were cold. We asked for ONE of these entrees to be corrected since we had waited so long we did not want to wait for a second. After another significant wait the replaced entrée arrived. The fish was barely cooked (and it was not sushi or tuna!) in the middle and we opted to leave. The owner came over to our table and said something about leaving without paying but we would have to live with our conscience and that our server would have to pay. We thought we could live with our conscience after that treatment. The owner gave us our bill that included both entrees and we must pay or he would call the police. We offered to pay for one and our drinks. In the mean time both the waitress and the bartender were making apologetic pleas behind him but he was off on a tangent. We quickly paid and left. This owner should not be in the service industry and avoid all contact with customers for this restaurant to have a chance.
