Laguna Beach Live! and the Philharmonic Society of Orange County present Huayucaltia (an ensemble of musicians from Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Peru, Mexico and California) in concert at Laguna Art Museum as part of the 11th Annual Laguna Beach Music Festival.

By playing indigenous and contemporary… Show more instruments, Huayucaltia’s compositions strive to blend traditions and dreams, and styles and innovation as faithfully and respectfully as possible.

Huayucaltia is made up of four immigrants from four South American countries and a U.S.-born citizen: Cindy Harding from Palo Alto, California; Julio Ledezma from Misiones, Argentina; Hernan Pinilla from Bogota, Colombia; Antonio Ezkauriatza from Mexico City via Monterrey; and Peruvian Ciro Hurtado, from Moyobamba via Lima.

The Laguna Beach Music Festival is a week-long event in scenic Laguna Beach, California, presented by Laguna Beach Live! and the Philharmonic Society of Orange County. Dedicated to artistic excellence and innovation, each Festival stars prominent and promising musicians in a variety of activities to attract both the casual listener and the aficionado, who share space in the Festival’s intimate, human-scale venues.
