This fun awards dinner promises to engage and inspire anyone who likes to read! This annual event benefits Project Second Chance (PSC), the Contra Costa County Library's Adult Literacy Program and is co-sponsored by Real Books. The event will take place at the Lafayette Park Hotel and includes dinner, wine, and a silent auction. Laurie R. King, author of highly praised mystery series and suspense novels, will be the guest speaker. Tickets are $60 each, call PSC at (925) 927-3250.
