Dialogues of the Carmelites by Francis Poulenc

On July 17th 1794, just ten days before the end of France’s “Reign of Terror,” sixteen Carmelite nuns were guillotined for their faith and for their country.
In February 2012, Biola University will tell their story. Dr. Jeanne Robison returns to direct Francis Poulenc’s modern masterpiece The Dialogues of the Carmelites, accompanied by members of the Biola University Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Marlin Owen.
