Valentine's Day with KAT EDMONSON

Kat Edmonson, 2011 Bugle Boy Talent Trust recipient, returns to The Bugle Boy in 2013 for a special Valentine's Day show after a wildly successful 2012. Last year saw the release of her album, Way Down Low, a collection of mostly original works that debuted atop the Billboard Heatseekers chart. The album, which immediately garnered interest from top music press, was described by The Boston Globe as "[o]ne of the greatest vocal albums I've ever heard" and by NPR All Things Considered as "a timeless… Show more sound." Kat was also recently featured on the critically acclaimed PBS show Austin City Limits, performing at the Moody Theatre.
While previous appearances at The Bugle Boy featured standards recorded on her release, Take To The Sky, Kat's return to La Grange will showcase the original songs featured on Way Down Low. The Valentine's Day audience will enjoy the show that she has taken on the road throughout the past year including her performances supporting Chris Isaak, Gary Clark Jr, and Lyle Lovett, among others. In March, Kat will embark on her first headline tour throughout parts of the Northeast and the Midwest, including City Winery in New York, and Schuba's Tavern in Chicago.
