Getting to Know Your Pressure Canner - Sept 23, 2013
Using a pressure canner can be intimidating, but it doesn't have to be! Learn about the parts, pieces, and noises. What is normal? What is not? How do I know I'm using it correctly? How is it different from a water bath canner? Can I use a pressure cooker to preserve food? (Short ansewr is no- find out why!)
You are welcome to bring your pressure canner to follow along in class, but you don't have to. Receive resources to take home.
