Painting and Drawing Saturday Morning Children’s Art Classes

Painting & Drawing: Acrylic & Pastel Focus: Ages 9-14, 10:30-12pm. $110.

Working with the traditional still life, students go in depth, with pastels and acrylics. With pastels, learn to use the medium as a drawing tool and explore it as a wash to create a painting’s atmosphere. Acrylic paints are handled as a transparent medium. Students study dry brush techniques, texture and color value. Preliminary sketches ensure exciting compositions in both mediums.
