Paul Zimmerman: “Recently Acquired Oil and Watercolor Landscapes, 1960s-1980s”

SCOTT & BOWNE presents an exhibition of oil and watercolor paintings by noted Connecticut landscape artist Paul Zimmerman (1921-2007). Zimmerman’s scenic vistas of Connecticut and other New England states through various terrains and seasons are showcased. The artist explored the underlying structure of a scene, fracturing the traditional canvas and abstracting elements while still capturing their essence. Zimmerman has earned his place in many museums, corporate, and private collections.
