Quilt Art Exhibit

The work of six artists from across the USA will include colorful, original textile art to dazzle the eye. Each piece is made to hang on the wall as art, not draped over a bed! The artists include Ann Fahl, Gloria Hansen, Melody Johnson, Rhonda Rodero, Barbara J. Schneider, and Marcia Stein. There will be two exhibits shown concurrently:

A Black and White Tale, featuring the work of area artist, Ann Fahl and many of the 34 quilts included in her book of the same name. Many of the quilts will include… Show more Oreo, the artist’s very graphic black and white cat.

Quilts in Color will include Gloria Hansen from NJ, Melody Johnson from TN, Rhonda Rodero of Mount Pleasant, Barbara J. Schneider of IL, Marcia Stein of San Francisco. A wide variety of techniques will be found: photo imaging, fabric painting, appliqué, embroidery, strong graphic images and subjects from nature.
