The Community Solutions workshop series aims to spark Leaders into Action by pairing local champions with non-traditional partners in order to catalyze and leverage a community’s hidden strengths. This half day workshop builds on four themes:

About Our Presenter:
John Thornburn is an Organizational and Community Development specialist. John is a certified facilitator and has worked with various employment, health, and community social service organizations. John has close to 30 years experience working with families, professionals, and leadership in the design of community solutions. His tenure as a professional consultant and owner of Building Better Practice has enabled him to develop best practices in collaboration with dozens of organizations throughout North America. He holds a Masters degree in Leadership from Royal Roads University in Victoria, BC. John is primarily interested in non-traditional partnerships that benefit not-for-profit organizations and ensures inclusion of constituents and stakeholders in planning.
