Nearly 100 years after the legendary explorer Ernest Shackleton embarked on his iconic expedition to Antarctica, the miraculously talented performers of Phantom Limb bring this gripping tale back to life in a strange and beautiful form. Drawing inspiration from Phantom Limb’s recent Antarctic voyage, 69 Degrees South recounts the Shackleton saga in an eerie new work that blends puppetry, performance, and film.
