With its ingenious layout and organisation, the Europahalle guarantees you maximum flexibility. Meaning it’s not just perfect for sports, but also for concerts and other events.

The Europahalle is known well beyond Karlsruhe. It’s become a byword for nail-biting sporting events. Like the sensational scores and standing ovations at the annual BW-Bank-Meeting – one of the world’s leading athletic events.

The Europahalle consists of a main hall split into four parts (estimated usable area 2,200 m2) large enough to welcome 9,000 people, seated and standing.

And the organisation side of things? There are four ticket desks and a ticket office, 78 working areas for journalists complete with tables, 8 soundproof radio broadcast cubicles, and large spaces in the foyer for information, promotional or merchandising stands.

On top of this, the complex includes a warming up area (405 m2), a multifunctional connecting area (360 m2), the Karl-Benz Halls (KBS 1+2 = 260 m2) and the Karl-Wolf Hall (208 m2) – which can be divided with a partition – for events of all kinds.

Suitable parking for TV outside broadcast vehicles is provided next to the hall.
