In the 1870s, the friendship that grew between the titan Johannes Brahms and the newcomer Antonin Dvořák propelled Dvořák's career to international renown. In 1884, Dvořák wrote what many consider to be his finest symphony - a grand reflection of Brahms' influence. Just three years later, Brahms wrote his final concerto, a work both reflective and robust. Israeli composer Menachem Wiesenberg has created a vital new work with his Reflections for orchestra.
