Did you know that up to 5% of children in the U.S. may suffer from cognitive and behavioral problems caused
by prenatal exposure to alcohol? Dr. May will explain FASD and how the mother’s drinking patterns and other
factors may lead to different outcomes in children. Dr. May, NRI Research Professor and leading expert in
FASD, works to fully define the disorder, helping to decrease the overall percentage of impacted children.
