The Historic town of Jim Thorpe is celebrating Christmas 2012 with festivities for everyone. The event will kick-off with a Parade November 30 at 6pm followed by a Tree Lighting Ceremony. The following 3 weekends will include Mug Walks, Santa Train Rides, Santa Show, A Coal Country Christmas Carol at the Mauch Chunk Opera House, Annual Pet Costume Parade December 9 at 1pm and lots of other activities for old and young.
