The original incarnation of rock & roll revivalists the Senders gigged around New York City clubs during the late '70s, led by vocalist Philippe Marcade. They left only one recording behind, 1980's Seven Song Super Single, which featured a pub rock-inflected mix of '50s-style originals and covers of early rock & roll and R&B songs by artists like Little Richard and Howlin' Wolf....
