Monarch Butterfly Festival

Saturday, Aug 31, 2013 10:00a to 4:00p

At the Monarch Butterfly Festival, Audubon’s auditorium will be transformed into a garden of wildflowers with butterflies flying about. You’ll be fascinated by monarchs from tiny eggs thru the caterpillar, chrysalis, and beautiful butterflies. You can even hold one in your hand! Watch butterfly tagging, enjoy crafts for kids, photo ops, a plant sale, Nature Store, food, fun and more. At 4:00 pm the butterflies will be released outdoors to fly to Mexico for the winter.
