Civil War artifacts at Mandarin Museum
Mandarin Museum & Historical Society honors the 150th Anniversary of the sinking of the Union steamship Maple leaf in the St. Johns River in 1864. Sunk by a Confederate mine placed between Mandarin and Orange Park, the Maple Leaf shipwreck site is the only National Historic Landmark in Duval County.
View over 100 Civil War artifacts recovered from the Maple Leaf.
We are a Blue Star Museum and will offer discounts on Museum Store purchases from Memorial Day through Labor Day.
