Introduction: Â Baptist Health in Jacksonville, Florida offers a comprehensive program of childbirth education classes in various locations and dates in either a three -week series or an all-day Saturday "marathon" class.

By learning the essentials of childbirth taught by experienced childbirth educators, you'll be given the tools to help you make the best choices for the birth of your baby. You only have your first baby once: Prepare and learn all you can!

Expectant parents are encouraged to complete this class between their 32nd -37th week, so register early as space is limited.

Please Note: Some breathing and relaxation is included in this class but you will not practice on the floor. For couples desiring additional Lamaze-type techniques, we offer a supplemental one-night "Comfort Measures for Laborâ€* class, This comfort measures class includes additional breathing exercises, progressive relaxation, imagery, positioning and labor rehearsa
