UC Irvine Extension is expanding its Certificate Program in Appraisal Studies in Fine & Decorative Arts curriculum to include two new courses, responding to increased demand and interest by the program’s students. The back-to-back accelerated courses entitled “Inspecting and Describing Fine Art” and “Understanding Antique Furniture” will be offered June 7 to 8 and June 9 to 10 as part of the 4th Annual UC Irvine Extension Summer Institute of Connoisseurship in Fine and Decorative Arts. The program, which attracts students from across the nation, as well as from Canada and Mexico, is designed for both novice and experienced appraisers.
