The family behind Drakes Bay Family Farms is the Lunny Family, now in their fourth generation of farming. Located along the beautiful Drakes Estero in Point Reyes National Seashore, Drakes Bay Family Farms is committed to raising and delivering locally grown, and environmentally sustainable foods. Drakes Bay Family Farms continues to raise delicious, pristine oysters, grass-fed beef, and artichokes. As stewards of the land, our practices are driven by a deep respect for the land and the waters of the Estero ecosystem. The company also provides jobs, housing, and income to many locals, and is a significant part of the history and diversity of this thriving agricultural community.

Our Drakes Bay Oysters are raised in the finest water quality of any growing area in the state of California. A deep-water upwelling just off the coast of Drake’s Bay provides cool, nutrient rich water year-round to Drake’s Estero. This uniquely pristine water produces what are recognized as some of the finest oysters in the world.

The Lunny Ranch produces organic and grass-fed beef. Our grazing area is situated in the heart of the Point Reyes National Seashore, with the Pacific Ocean bordering one side of the ranch and Drakes Estero bordering the opposite side. This moist, marine environment provides for excellent pasture productivity, making our beef some of the best you will ever taste.
