The Emerson Theater is an ALL AGES music venue with a capacity of 400. The Emerson hosts all ORIGINAL local music acts Friday and Saturday nights every week and occasionally regional/national acts throughout the week. The building used to be a theater, now the seats have been removed and a stage built in. There is an in house PA as well as a concession stand. As of August 1st, 2000 The Emerson is under new management.
The Dear Hunter started as a solo side project by singer and keyboardist Casey Crescenzo, formerly a key member of Boston emo act the Receiving End of Sirens. An outlet for Crescenzo's songs that didn't fit the Receiving End of Sirens' heavy post-hardcore vibe, the Dear Hunter was initially envisioned as a concurrent project....
With his high-pitched vocals and prolific songwriting, singer Anthony Green had a hand in many bands throughout the 1990s and 2000s, including Zolof the Rock & Roll Destroyer, Saosin, Circa Survive, the Sound of Animals Fighting, and several smaller projects....
