Independence Events Center

The Independence Events Center hosts a variety of events including: concerts; trade shows; professional, collegiate and high school sporting events, festivals, community ceremonies and is home to the Missouri Mavericks, of the Central Hockey League and the Missouri Comets, of the Major Indoor Soccer League . The Independence Events Center features a state-of-the art arena with 5,800 fixed seats, 25 suites, 2,200 parking spaces and a year-round ice facility.

One of the finest ice skating facilities in the Midwest, the Centerpoint Community Ice offers a wide variety of programs including public skating, learn-to-skate classes, figure skating, hockey, special events, birthday parties and private rentals. The facility also hosts a full-service concession stand, skate sharpening services and a Pro Skate Shop for all your skating equipment, gear and apparel needs.
