complaining and b******* and moaning over ticket prices, seat comfort, rude people in the theater texting, etc. etc. does not help ANYONE at all with whether they should see a particular movie. Either write a review about the movie or shut the f*** up and stay home!

Coming from Salt Lake where the cinemas had nicer seats, bigger screens and digital projectors, for a $5 entry fee, Edwards is a joke! Double the price, film projectors, and uncomfortable seats. I hope another cinema comes in to this town and competes.

I rarely go out to movies anymore since I purchased my HDTV & surround sound system. I find it's much more enjoyable to watch movies at home. The thing is, with living in a small town there really isn't much to do here and taking the wife out to dinner & a movie is considered a nice night on the town. The problem I have with Edwards is, while although they have employees walk in and check on things as a movie is playing, they rarely if ever say anything to anyone who is being distracting. The problem I have lately is with people who feel the need to text their friends while their at the movies. Seriously, why would you pay close to 30 bucks for two people (tickets & refreshments) and then sit there and text your friends? Why even go to the movies? Why not go spend time with your friends? Are you that insecure that you can't go 2 or 3 hours without talking or texting somebody? I went to see Gran Torino the other night and my wife and I counted at least 9 people during the movie texting friends. At least 5 of them texted throughout the whole movie and when you're sitting behind them it's really quite irritating. The light shining from their cell phones is very distracting and I wish management would do something about this. My wife got so upset she pelted one guy in the head with a milk dud and he finally closed his phone. lol
Has anyone else noticed this?
