Summer 2012 Driver's Ed at Skyline High School

NOTE: Student DOB must be on or before December 5th, 1997
Students wishing to enroll in this class must get their permit from the DMV office at the corner of Shoup and E street in Idaho Falls on May 23rd between 5:00 and 7:00 PM. In the event you cannot make that day, then May 30th from 5:00 - 6:00 PM is available. You will be given a receipt for the purchase of the drivers permit, this receipt  MUST be given to the instructor the first day of class.

Certified Birth Certificate.
Photo Identification - school activity card, yearbook, etc.
Social Security Card or student number.
Completed Verification of Compliance-VOC form (per Idaho Code 49-303A). Click on the link, print, complete the top portion and ask your school counseling office to sign and seal.
Photo Identification of Liability Signer. The person who will be signing as liability signer will need to prove identification in relationship to the student.
Permit Fee - $21.50
 
The fee for District 91 driver's education is $150. This fee will be collected by the instructor. The entire fee can be paid at the start or during the session. Students will not receive their permit if their entire fee is not paid by their final drive. Checks can be made out to School District 91. In the event you pay cash, the instructor will provide you with a receipt.
 
Date/time and locations for this session is listed. The summer sessions schedule will be determined by each instructor. Typically classroom sessions will be held in the morning Monday through Friday, but may vary according to the instructors summer demands. The summer session usually does not last as long as the sessions during the school year because of added time in the classroom each day.
 
When the section reaches 24 it will be closed. However there is an opportunity to be registered on the waiting list. Therefore, if someone drops from the class, the next individual will be picked up. In addition, if the waitlist reaches 21 students another section will be created.
