There's no MSG used, and the flavors are a tad more sophisticated than you might find in your average Little Saigon eatery. The egg noodle soup with shrimp, for instance, has toasted onions that flavor the broth like a French onion soup – a tasty surprise. There's a hint of tamarind marinade when you bite into the perfectly grilled shrimp served up with pretty yellow-orange rice that's subtly flavored with butter and garlic. Most all the plates are priced around $7.25. A perfect location for north coastal residents who don't want to drive inland for good Vietnamese food. (Iris Yokoi, SqueezeOC)
